The micro-course “Recording Better Videos at Home 101” was created based on the necessity to continue producing online courses while working remotely. It is for those who would like to learn how to make videos with digital devices that you already have at home.
The main topics that we explore are:
The whole department faced the necessity to continue the production of online courses and training during the pandemic. So, we reorganized ourselves in groups of interests and started to brainstorm on which problem we needed to solve first and how we would solve it, everything remotely. The instructional design, the course content, and the blog were created and revised by everyone in the group.
Each colleague who participated in this micro-course used to work on their own project, but together, we complemented each other. The “Recording Better Videos at Home 101” was made as a group. That is why we present ourselves as a team for this project. It was created while everyone was working from home, and in my experience was the most fun to do.
