ICT and educational inclusion in vulnerable populations

86% of displaced people arrive in neighboring countries that are also in development and do not have a good infrastructure or public policies to receive these refugees. Refugee children face the most significant challenges. The duration of displacement, a refugee status, exceeds 20 years, as reported by Mendenhall, Russell, and Buckner of Columbia University in Urban refugee education.

This work aims to point out the challenges that affect the gap between people in vulnerable situations such as refugees, displaced people, and quality education and information. Likewise, we will show examples of existing projects implemented worldwide. Finally, we will indicate the challenges refugees face to continue their studies and how to use technology, information, and communication (ICT) in education and quality information.
